SSHL/SSLH is a VPN application designed to tunnel SSH using various protocols, including DNS, SSL, HTTP, and SOCKS proxies. The app allows users to send customized HTTP Request Messages to the server.

Troubleshooting:

Connected but unable to browse?
You may resolve this by disabling the DNS option in the route configuration by un-toggling include_dns.

Experiencing DNS leaks?
Disabling the include_dns option should help prevent DNS leaks.

Routing Configuration:

Use the following format: [Address]SLASH[Length] SPACE [Address]SLASH[Length], where:

• SLASH = “/” serves as a delimiter for [Address] = IP address
• [Length] = Prefix length
• SPACE = “ ” is a delimiter for routes

For instance: 1.1.1.1/32 8.8.8.8/32

HTTP Message Generator Syntax:

The structure of the request line is as follows:

• [request_line] = CONNECT[sp][request_uri][sp]HTTP/1.0[crlf][crlf]
• [request_uri] = [userfinfo]@[authority]
• [userfinfo] = [http_username][c][http_password]
• [authority] = [host][c][port]

The definitions for various components include:

• [http_username] = Username for HTTP proxy
• [http_password] = Password for HTTP proxy
• [host] = Remote SSH host
• [port] = Remote SSH port
• [crlf] = Carriage Return (US-ASCII 13, \r) Line Feed (US-ASCII 10, \n)
• [sp] = US-ASCII space character (32)

String Manipulation Features:

• [shuffle] = Randomly permutes specified list elements
• [reverse] = Reverses the order of elements in a list
• [rotate] = Rotates elements in a list by a specified distance
• [split] = Splits a string into substrings based on a delimiter or regular expression
• [delay_split] = Splits a string delayed by a thread (1000ms * number of delimiters)
• [""] = Does nothing

The Two Generator Options:

The traditional (left) and simplified (right) buttons assist in creating customized HTTP Request Messages. Examples can be accessed via dropdown arrows in the text fields.

Note: When utilizing an HTTP proxy that requires authentication, a Proxy-Authorization Request Header will be generated automatically upon clicking the Generate button.

Export/Import Features:

• "show_*" (toggle to allow visibility of crucial configuration details)
• "lock_type" locks the proxy type.
• "lock_ports" locks the ports.
• "file_name" specifies the configuration file name.
• "expiry" denotes the expiry date for the configuration.
• "notes" allows delivery of notes/messages to recipients (HTML tags supported).
• "allow_root" toggles root device permissions regarding config usage.
• "hardware_id" specifies allowed hardware IDs for config file access.

VoIP Capability:

A SSH server supporting UDP Forwarding/UDPGW enables audio and video calls, with a default client UDPGW port set to 7300.
